Privacy Policy

GoalTrack ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the GoalTrack mobile app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication details. You can sign up with email and password or with Google Sign-In, in which case Google shares basic profile information (such as your email and name) with us.
- Profile and app data: Your favorite teams, display name, language, time zone, notification settings, and theme. When you are signed in, this data is synced to your account so it follows you across devices. If you use the app as a guest, it stays on your device.
- Subscription and purchase data: If you subscribe to remove ads, your purchase is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) receive your subscription status and a purchase identifier. We never receive your full payment card details.
- Usage and device data: Basic technical information needed to operate the app, and, where ads are shown, data collected by our advertising partner (see Section 3).
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to create and manage your account, sync your preferences across devices, provide and manage subscriptions (including removing ads for subscribers), deliver the local notifications you enable, and operate, secure, and improve the app.
3. Advertising
The free version of the app may display ads from a third-party advertising network (such as Google AdMob). Ad partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, subject to their own privacy policies. Subscribing to the ad-free plan removes these ads.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — account authentication and cloud storage of your profile data.
- Google — Google Sign-In and, on Android, Google Play Billing for subscriptions.
- Apple — App Store billing for subscriptions on iOS.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement validation.
- API-Football — live scores, fixtures, and standings (match data only; no personal data is sent).
- Google AdMob (or a similar network) — advertising in the free version.
5. Notifications
If you enable notifications, alerts are generated and delivered locally on your device based on data the app has already fetched.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@getgoaltracker.com. We will delete your account data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations (for example, subscription and billing records).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
GoalTrack is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@getgoaltracker.com.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
